About my CJ5

My CJ5 has a 304 V8 bored 40 over with a low torque cam, 4 barrel carb, Headman headers w/dual exhaust., 3" suspension lift, 2" body lift with Rancho 5000 shocks and dual Pro comp front stabilizers, with 35" Cooper STT's, the electrical has been upgraded to a MSD Ignition System, I have replaced the fan clutch with and electric fan, I have a oil cooler installed to control hot climates, the exterior and interior has been refinished with a polyurethane coating. I have a custom build front and rear bumpers with a Smitty-built XCR 8000 winch on front with custom made holder. It has a Dana 44 rear with lock-rite lockers, Dana 30 front, and Dana 20 transfer case. I have added Best-top 5 1/2" fender flares to the jeep for tire coverage. I have extended the tire holder and added a custom tee- holder for my Smitty built jack. Improvements will include, upgrade to fill neck on fuel tank, retrofit from 3 speed transmission to T-18 four speed.

Very nice ride. I also have a 1975 CJ5 - also with 304, same tranny and transfer case as yours but am still running stock axles. Mine only has spring over for lift - but I have 36" super swampers under it.
Have a little bit of rust - just bits here and there - nothing major. Have custom built front and rear bumpers and after market front seats. Rear seat is original. My only dislike is the drum brakes all around - have been thinking about swapping to disc.
Maybe later upgrade my axles.
