This 2002 Jeep Liberty, owned by nhcd538, has an estimated 210 horsepower. All of this truck’s torque and power comes from a stout 3.7L engine. To complete this Liberty’s powertrain, a NV3550 transmission is used. With the help of a 2.5" Frankenlift (c) by All J Products suspension, this Jeep is a real off road machine. About my Liberty
This is my KJ. It has a 2.5" lift (Frankenlift) with Al's Arms (custom upper A-arms which help maintain stock suspension geometry on lifted Liberty's). I also put 245/75R16 Goodyear MTR's and aluminum wheels off a Wrangler Rubicon on it. It has the stock 3.7L engine and NV3550 5-speed manual transmission, also the garden variety NP231J t-case. The rear is the factory Chrysler 8.25, with 3.55 gears. The front diff is also the stock Dana 30A aluminum center section. Both diffs are open. I'm considering an Aussie locker for the rear...the front stays unmolested lest I bust the case open. Inside, the Jeep has Ericsson two-way radio gear and XM Satellite radio, along with the factory CD player. As of now, I'm at 99,050 miles with almost zero problems and very little maintenance (not to mention I beat the hell out of it). Thanks for looking!
