Reader’s Rides Vehicles

This 2005 Jeep TJ, owned by rjfrey1, has an estimated 200 horsepower. All of this truck’s torque and power comes from a stout 4.0L engine. To complete this TJ’s powertrain, a Auto transmission is used. With the help of a Rock Krawler X Factor 7" with their X Factor High Clerance Steering Kit suspension, this Jeep is a real off road machine. Check out some of the pictures and ratings for this 4WD below, as well as other info about this ride.

About my TJ

I bought my 2005 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited in Feb 06 with 12,900 mi. It was bone stock, but fully loaded with A/C, CC, auto, CD changer, sub and the only option not on this Jeep was the smoker's package. Within two weeks of bringing it home, the whole suspension was off and I was installing the Rock Krawler X Factor 7" kit with their X Factor steering kit. Keep in mind, I was going through chemotherapy while doing the install. It took me about 10 days by myself to install everything, even falling asleep under the Jeep for 1 1/2 hours one time! LOL. I think it turned out nice, but there are some issues to still work out with the steering kit. other than that, I really like the four-link rear suspension and three link front. As you can see in the pictures, the articulation is very good. Everyone enjoy their time on the dirt and enjoy life itself...you never know what's around the next corner!
